The 2022 Season bring a lot of change from Hillsdale Athletes.
A new name. The Haymakers are born.
A new website.
Hillsdaleathletes.com gets a major facelift.
A new competitive stream. OASA here we come.
The Haymakers
We have rebranded ourselves (from nothing) to the Hillsdale Haymakers. We threw around a number of names and but this seemed to have the most traction with the most people. Our focus group was quite small I'll admit. With the name change comes also a colour scheme change. Gone are the royal and black in favour of the Navy & Gold (Think Milwaukee Brewers). We also developed a new logo as well that we think is pretty cool.
New Website
If you are from the hockey world you will likely be familiar with the platform our new site is using. We have partnered with
sportsheadz.com to provide our new intuitive site along with an App that puts everything right on your smart phone. We are still building out much of the content, so check back often or follow us on
Facebook for updates.
Competitive Programming
New for this season will be a competitive stream for U11 and U13 divisions. We will continue to run our recreational programs at all levels, the competitive stream is just an add-on to those existing teams. Teams will compete in qualifier and provincial tournaments. Some basic information can be found on the
Recreational vs Competitive (FAQ) page.
